The Stack that Secures the Stack: A Deep Dive into Automating Black Hat's Next Gen SOC
Session Type: Talk
Behind every major conference is a complex, often unseen, technology stack. For a security-focused event like Black Hat, this stack itself is a critical target, requiring a resilient, scalable, and automated security posture. In this talk, we’ll pull back the curtain on the operational and security infrastructure of the Black Hat conferences. We will explore the journey from a collection of ad-hoc systems to a globally consistent, single-config architecture that empowers us to manage operations with unprecedented efficiency. This is a story of how we built a stack that not only supports the event, but actively secures it, demonstrating how a strategic approach to automation and platform consolidation can revolutionise operations.
